
1.If u are learning how to cook, u have laready taken the first step: interest and learning.
Second, to build up ur confidence, look for recipes with detailed steps and go in for simple ones first.
When learning, remember, the measures mentioned in the recipe should be adhered to, once u are confident, only then change it.. what I am trying to say here is , initially, try NOT to use 'haath ka andaz'.
If u want, just halve the proportion of the ingrdients so that u do not end up cooking a huge quantity, when learning, use small portions.
2.the final taste of a dish should be as intended-every ingredient(be it salt, masala) in proper proportion complementing each other and delivering a mouthwatering taste.
3.My Mum used to say -" The way to heart goes through stomach".
So be passionate about cooking and If You really want to reach to someone's heart.
4.Apart from passion , patience and good mood ......the real thing that I learned from my experience is the Right Amount of Ingredients , And most important is How you Present the dish. Good Presentation makes you want to eat any dish.
